3. FOOD PRODUCTS — REGULATORY DISCLOSURES

3.1 Inspection. All of our beef — individual cuts and whole, half, and quarter shares alike — is processed at  a USDA-inspected establishment. All product is inspected and passed and bears the USDA mark of inspection.

3.2 Personal use. Beef shares are sold for personal and household use. Purchasers agree by contract not to resell their share — see Section 12 of our Terms of Service and Section 1.3 of the Beef Share Purchase Terms.

3.3 Fixed pricing. Beef shares are sold at a fixed price. Quoted pound figures are estimates of yield, not guarantees, and vary with the purchaser's cut sheet selections.

3.4 Safe handling. Raw and undercooked meat may contain bacteria that cause illness. Cook to safe internal temperatures as recommended by the USDA and follow the safe handling instructions printed on every package.

3.5 Agricultural variation. Beef is an agricultural product. Cut weight, marbling, color, fat content, tenderness, and flavor vary naturally between animals and across seasons. Variation within our stated tolerances is not a defect.

4. COSMETIC PRODUCTS — REGULATORY DISCLOSURES

4.1 Cosmetics, not drugs. Our tallow balms, salves, and related topicals are cosmetics. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease.

4.2 Responsible person. For purposes of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as amended by the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022, the responsible person is La Corbiere LLC at the address in Section 1.

4.3 Adverse event reporting. Report any adverse reaction to contact@lilyhillcattle.com with the product name, lot or batch number, purchase date, and a description. We maintain adverse event records as required by law.

4.4 Ingredients. Full ingredient declarations appear on each product label and product page. The label on the product you receive controls.

5. ALLERGEN AND BOVINE-SOURCE DISCLOSURE

Other than our Lip Balm, ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING OUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS, ARE DERIVED FROM CATTLE (BOVINE / MAMMALIAN SOURCES).

Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is an allergy to a sugar found in most mammals, most often triggered in the United States by a lone star tick bite. People with AGS may react to red meat and to mammalian-derived ingredients in topical products, including beef tallow. If you have or suspect AGS, or have ever reacted to red meat or a mammal-derived product, consult your physician before using any of our products.

Our facility: our tallow skincare products are manufactured in a dedicated production area of the same building in which we pack and ship our raw beef. Tallow skincare is the only product line manufactured at this facility. Assume incidental bovine cross-contact throughout. Every other ingredient is declared on the product label.

We recommend a patch test before first use of any skincare product. Apply a small amount to a discreet area, wait 24 hours, and discontinue if irritation develops.
