Again, the meat is good and shipping is done well but it is quite pricey for what you get. If moneys not an issue; excellent product.

I’ve been using Lily Hill whipped tallow for years now and it’s amazing. I got pregnant last April and had to stop using my usual skincare products and would only use the tallow as my moisturizer - my skin has never looked better! I also used it to help prevent stretch marks and it worked so well!

Packed conveniently in 1 lbs portions, this beef has such a great texture and flavor. We noticed we had to adjust our seasoning down from our usual portions as the flavor was so good it was not necessary to hide behind a lot of seasoning. I found it to be better than the grass fed beef at Costco.
I purchased the Simply Tallow (unscented) and loved the texture and moisture it provides. It has a lovely, very subtle warm natural scent when applied to the skin. I would definitely recommend it for mature skin. Great product!
Love how creamy it is and the benefits but it does smell like seasoned beef to me after sitting on my skin (I tried a patch test and thats when i noticed) but i have just been mixing it with my lavender lotion from lush and no smell!
We are sorry that you did not have perfect experience with our tallow and noticed the natural beef scent. We are working hard to improve our products and do our best to ensure our rendering process removes as much of the natural beef scent as possible without compromising the fatty acid profile, which can happen if the tallow is over rendered. I have ordered the filets, cubed steak and aged ground beef. They are excellent cuts of meat and delivers this wonderful aroma all thru the house. The beef is tender and delicious!
I became introduced to Lily Hill Tallow by my daughter. I saw she had a jar of something and I started looking into it. I became intrigued because I have such problem skin as I age. My skin is all over the map. I also use another company's natural skin care from Hawaii, but those are completely different ingredients and types of skin care. I started using the unscented whipped tallow on my face about a week ago. I love the feel, my skin feels more hydrated and I haven't had any more breakouts than usual. I was concerned with irritating my problematic skin. So far, so good. I did get a new tattoo and have been using the unscented whipped tallow as my moisturizer and it has been AMAZING! I have looked at other tallows online, but all others have too many carrier oils added that are comedogenic and I would never use those oils on my face. I love the simplicity of this skin care. I have since ordered all the scents in the whipped tallow. I am unsure if I will try these on my face, but I knew I wanted them for other areas. I am excited for my scented tallow to deliver ( should be tomorrow for 2 of them). Thank you for a wonderful product and I cannot wait to see what continued use brings. I love that you are a farm to face business and you love your land, cows and put so much consideration into your products! I will continue to purchase my tallow from Lily Hill only!
Honestly I bought the whipped tallow on a whim. When I said I became obsessed. The jar doesn't even have a speck of it on the inside. I am anxiously waiting to restock. The bergamot is the best smell I have used.
