I have been using the Lily Hill tallow products for quite a while and I keep coming back to them. They are very moisturizing and feel great on my skin. I use the face balm, the lip balm and the body lotion. Not only are the products excellent, but I love supporting such a worthy family business.

I originally bought the trio a few months ago so the lotion came with it. With that I fell IN LOVE with it. I typically have to apply lotion so many times a day because my skin gets very dry but with this lotion I only applied in the morning and at night and my skin feels so soft all day. Highly recommend!

it doesn’t stay greasy and absorbs in your skin so good and i tried the trio and personally this lotion is the best . i love how it smells (scented) and is way better than commercial lotion. i don’t know how to explain how different it is from store lotion but i am not going back. i showed my mom and gave her the whipped tallow because she has really dry skin. i am buying two more because i finished mine in 4 months and i use it almost everyday and on my baby after showering!! :) love it!!!

After seeing a couple videos on instagram hyping up tallow, a friend of mine sent me a reel of Lily Hill Tallow. At the time i used to have a full korean skincare routine, double cleanser, serum moisturizer sunscreen, eye cream, etc. it was probably like 6-7 products, even then my skin would still flare up and i would still get lots of acne. For context i have oily/acne prone skin, i went and ordered the whipped balm and it has been lifechanging, my skin is super glowy, supple, and it has completely transformed my skin.i barely break out like i used to and i never feel like it’s heavy or clogging. That is with just 1 product. Would highly recommend!!!

I've tried three or four different tallow balms, and this one truly stands out. The others I’ve used were either grainy, had an unpleasant odor, lacked clear sourcing information, or contained fragrances that irritated my skin.

You can really tell the care that goes into this jar—from raising the cattle with love to rendering and whipping the balm to perfection. The texture is soft and fluffy, and my skin absorbs it quickly without any greasy feel.

Lip balm is fantastic . I dont need to keep applying . One application lasted for two days.

Its certainly different from any lotion Ive used before. Its going to take a minute to adjust from the water based lotions Im used too, but change is good and it did make my skin feel softer .

Very different than anything I’ve used. Im very impressed with only using it once my lips remained moist for 2 days! I wasnt needing to keep applying lip balm.

There is no comparison between beef quality from the grocery store and LHC. We have bought a lot of different cuts from steaks, roasts, meal ready and ground beef from LHC. All of it has been superior in quality and taste. It always arrives well packed and on time. I am so glad we found LHC.

I absolutely love the tallow collection. I use the whipped balm on my hands before bed every night and the lotion on my legs and arms every day. The lip balm is also SO moisturizing and protecting as we move into colder months. It has replaced my bedside burts bees! The scent of the lotion and whipped balm is divine. Not too strong or too "oily girl" smelling.

Love all the tallow products. I love the orange and frankinscense and I started ordering the unscented for my husband and brother.

This is by far the best lotion I've ever used. It's lightweight yet perfectly hydrating and has healed the eczema on my hand beautifully. Both the texture and scent are amazing. I'm sensitive to fragrances, but this blend is soothing, rejuvenating with orange peel, and sweet from vanilla oleoresin. I first notice lavender, which dries down to fresh orange and lingers as a soft vanilla aroma. I’m so glad I tried this lotion and plan to continue using it. The only tiny suggestion is the packaging—since the lotion is thick in cold weather, a jar might make it even easier to enjoy every last bit. It’s so wonderful, I wouldn’t want to leave any behind!

Started up with the winter eczema and nothing was working. This is the only thing I tried that worked this year.

I am on my third bottle of this product- it is the only product that I use for my lips. I have tried countless chapsticks that claim to hydrate and time after time fail me. This product stays put, soaks in, relieves dry lips, and overtime I only use this twice a day as it keeps them healthy. Whereas before I was reaching for Carmex 15 times a day I now reapply TWICE. Cannot recommend this product enough!!!

I've been using the Lip Balm for about a year now, and have to say it is literally the best lip balm I have ever used. I have Sjogrens which causes severe dry mouth and lips, and I am constantly needing to put something on them for moisture. This balm, however lasts so much longer that anything else I have ever used, and I don't have to put it on all the time because it doesn't disappear. It's very soothing and I love how thick it is as well. I also have issues with very dry cuticles around my fingers nails causing splitting and hang nails. So I decided to try the lip balm on them as well. What an incredible product for that! It totally takes care of the dryness! I believe it may even be making my nails grow faster and better! I have no proof of that, of course, but ever since I started using it on my cuticles, my nails grow like crazy and seem a lot stronger! I absolutely LOVE the Lily Hill Farm story, the tallow products, have told all my family and friends about it and love supporting your beautiful farm and family!

I was drawn to the ingredients, especially the marshmallow root and appreciate the farm’s transparency. Tallow can be hard to source, so it’s nice to know where it comes from.
The balm is lightweight and smooth, but unfortunately, it has caused some breakouts. This might just be my skin adjusting. Since it hydrates well and feels great in the morning, I’ll continue using it. I also love that it’s fragrance-free. My only concern is that it softens a bit outside the fridge, so it could leak when traveling.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and hope the breakouts are temporary. Customer service is helpful but doesn’t always follow up. I had some questions before buying but never received a response. I completely understand that Avery is working very hard to keep the farm going. It might also be helpful if the website included more information about the essential oils and their sourcing.
