Whipped Tallow Balm
Our classic whipped tallow balm is made using leaf fat (beef suet) from pasture raised cattle and whipped using organic, cold-pressed, USA-sourced jojoba oil. Mimicking your skin’s natural sebum and lipid profile, this balm makes an ultra rich body, hand, or face moisturizer. Rich in skin-supportive fatty acids like palmitic, oleic, and stearic, tallow mimics the natural lipid barrier of your skin, delivering deep, lasting moisture with no fillers or synthetic ingredients.
Made with the same small-batch care and clean ingredients as our Reserve Collection—but using tallow sourced from a trusted network of farms aligned with our values of care for their cattle.
In many batches, will include a mixture of suet from our own cattle and theirs. While not exclusive to our herd, every jar is rendered and crafted with the same precision and integrity, right here on our farm.

With Essential Oils
Our reformulated scented balm contains an essential oil blend selected for skin benefits — not just fragrance.
At the heart of this blend are four varieties of frankincense resin oils — each selected for its unique therapeutic properties:
- Boswellia carterii – helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and supports cell regeneration
- Boswellia frereana – known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties
- Boswellia papyrifera – high in boswellic acids, which help calm reactive skin and reduce redness
- Boswellia sacra – prized for its grounding aroma and skin-repairing compounds
Together, these resin oils work synergistically to:
- Promote healthy collagen production
- Calm irritated or inflamed skin
- Improve overall tone and texture
- Support barrier repair and hydration retention
They are also paired with:
- Lavender essential oil – to soothe, balance, and protect
- Sweet orange peel essential oil – for antioxidant support and brightening
- Vanilla oleoresin – a rich antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals and protect the skin’s barrier.
